Living in Love and Faith

This programme of Christian teaching and learning about identity, sexuality, relationship and marriage invites us all to think about how questions about these issues fit within the bigger picture of the good news of Jesus Christ and what it means to live in love and faith together as a church. It takes a new approach to a big issue by listening to the views of the whole church, so the more people who participate and offer feedback, the more this aim will be fulfilled.

The main means of participating is by taking part in the Living in Love and Faith course which consists of five 1½ hour sessions for small groups, using both videos and written materials to explore the key questions together. There is a local opportunity to take part as Stroud Deanery is planning to run the course on consecutive Thursday evenings at 7.30pm, starting on 23rd September and ending on 21st October, at Cainscross Church Hall. Each session lasts about 1½ hours and you can find out more about it on the church’s Living in Love and Faith (LLF) website by clicking here and general information about LLF on the relevant page of the diocesan website by clicking here.

If you would like to attend then please contact Sally Withers, the Deanery Administrator, on 07808 294910 or email here by Thursday 16th September so that we know in good time whether there is sufficient interest to go ahead
