Minchinhampton's first ever (we believe) Music Festival - or MYM for short, which will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday, 13th and 14th March 2010 in Minchinhampton School. We hope that it will encourage young musicians and singers to show off their hard-earned skills in front of a friendly and appreciative audience and also receive advice and encouragement from our adjudicators, all of whom are very experienced in working with young people through instrumental and vocal teaching.

It's taking place in over the weekend of the 13th and 14th March in Minchinhampton School Hall. On Saturday morning, we have the percussion and strings section and in the afternoon brass, woodwind and piano. On Sunday afternoon from 2 till 5 we have the singing and fron 6pm the Junior Final, the Two or More Generations (which is non-competitive) and the Senior Final.

Everyone, young and not so young, is welcome to join the audience and entry is free so please come along at any time during the Festival to give the performers your support and encouragement
